Introduction
Tell everyone what your class is about
You are not required to finish any homework; however there are many incentives to doing your homework. (Housepoints, Educational Awards, Increasing in Years.)
Grading Policy:
Grading policy is as followed:
O Outstanding 90-100 Worth 500 HP
E Exceeds Expectations 80-90 Worth 400 HP
A Acceptable
70-80 Worth 200 HP
P Poor 60-70 Worth 50 HP
D Dreadful 50-60 Worth 20 HP
T Troll Below 50. Worth 10 HP
The student(s) who does the best job in all there classes will be eligible for the Educational award.
Any extra credit work given doesn't give you any house points, but it can contribute to your grade in class.
Late work is welcome, however it will not contribute toward house points and it will only be worth half class points.
Assignments posted on the 1st are due on the 14th and assignments posted on the 15th are due on the 28th of every month, any work turned in after those dates is considered late.
End of term tests
There will be finals at the end of every term. If you want to be eligible for the Education award you must take the finals. They will cover everything you have learned in class the term. These tests the will cover everything you have learned over the semester.
There will be OWLS at the end of your fifth year and NEWTS at the end of your 7th year. Passing these give you special awards. (Each term is worth one year, you must pass with a A(Average) or better in three classes & do the finals for those classes to go up a year. You may only go up one year per term.)
